My Project

Aloha,

I'm doing this on behalf of our Title 1 Intermediate school, Lokelani on the island of Maui.

Back in August of this year our island suffered a huge devastation, and it displaced so many students from one part of the island to our school. Yes, a lot of them did go back to their school, but we do still have a lot of them here with us as they and their families felt and still feel welcomed. I took over teaching the yearbook class last year, and the biggest complaint was that they couldn't take enough pictures because the batteries weren't holding a good charge. We do still have this issue this year, so I wanted to see if it would be possible to help change this for my yearbook students for this year and beyond. Thank you for your time and consideration.
