My Project

The supplies we are requesting will help to make learning more engaging for our students. Your donation will supply all three 9th grade English Language Arts with whiteboards, and we are so excited to start using them in our classrooms!

Whiteboards help facilitate a more engaging and inclusive learning environment.

For example, if the teacher asks the class a question, not every student is going to raise their hand to respond; however, with whiteboards, every student has the opportunity and the expectation to write down and hold up a response. Not only does this get more students engaged, but it allows the teacher to check for student understanding in real time. This is important to us because we want to make sure that we are reaching every student when we teach our lessons.
