My Project

I work at a Title 1 school where there is very limited funding. I recently got moved schools and into a new classroom. I have a very lively bunch of EL students who are learning how to read. One thing that I have noticed is that we are in desperate need of a classroom library. My goal is to give these students a classroom library filled with books in English and Spanish that they can relate to.

I want my students to feel more welcomed and at home in their ESL class.

The group of students that I have care and love each other so much. They would be thrilled to have a library filled with books that are relative to their lives.
