My Students

My students range from grades K to 8. We have a very diverse population at our school. There are several that come from Spanish speaking families and other countries. The kids are very interested in learning Spanish and pick it up quite well.

We have a group of fun loving and energetic students, who are very eager to learn.

They are engaged in the language and they are eager to share it everywhere they go. Our Primary students have developed the skills very quickly.

My Project

Having a projection camera in my Spanish classroom will be a wonderful opportunity to create more interactive and creative lessons for my students. I will be able to use it to emphasize points of grammar for my middle schoolers, create vocabulary lists for them to take notes from and even play games on where they can come up and draw pictures (like in Pictionary) and add team points earned.

My younger students can view a page of a Spanish unit more easily than having me write on a traditional chalk/whiteboard.

This wonderful piece of technology will be a great time saver in my classroom; as I can just put on whatever written text I want and it will magnify on the board for all students to see.
