My Students
My classroom is a fun place to learn. We work hard in the classroom, and I work hard to provide an educational experience for each child at their specific level. Our classroom is like a family. We support one another and celebrate each other as we make progress throughout the year.
My students love learning and I feel it is my job to provide them the best education possible so they will have the keys they need to unlock their potential.
In the classroom we work very hard and I want the students to feel comfortable learning in their own way. I teach in a Title 1 school, and we work hard to keep our school community positive. My students love coming to school. In fact, I often have parents tell me, "They were out yesterday because they were sick, but all they could talk about was how much they missed being at school." I love that our students feel that school is a second home.
My Project
Traditional chairs are not suitable for every student. I always give my students the option to stand at their desks, but I would like to provide them with these wonderful stools as an additional option so that they can be more focused on their work. Some students have such a hard time sitting still that they exert so much energy trying to force themselves to sit still, they miss out on the lesson. These stools will provide the wiggly students with the ability to wobble while they work. This way the students are better able to focus their attention on the lesson and they won't be a distraction to themselves or others.
These stools will be beneficial for my students because they will provide the opportunity for students to learn in a comfortable environment.
It is imperative for students to feel comfortable in order for them to do their best learning. I want my students to be able to focus on the projects they are working on or the math concept they are learning, and not have to focus on sitting still. These stools will help make learning more fun and accessible.
