My Students

Do you remember sitting in class and trying to stay focused? Many of my students struggle with staying in their seat during instruction.

My students are wonderful, busy first graders, who learn at a Title I school in North Carolina.

I have a very wonderful class this year full of twenty first graders. Some of my students have various special needs and have a harder time sitting still than other students.

My Project

Since I have students in my class this year with special needs, I would love two Hokki Stools and two Exercise Disc/Balance Cushions to help those students stay in their seats and focus on learning. These resources would enhance our classroom learning by allowing my students who need movement to have that, while staying focused on learning.

This project is important to me because I want all of my students, even the "busy bodies", to have an opportunity to stay focused and learn.

I want all of my students to meet their full potential in my classroom.
