My Students

My students are hands-on, eager, learning enthusiasts. They are our communities' future leaders. Teachers, police officers, nurses, doctors; the possibilities are endless for these extraordinary kids. My students are a diverse group of children with a variety of learning needs. Our school is a large Title I school, containing grades K-8. Our room is filled with love, laughter, growing, and encouragement. My class is a positive, happy, bright place because of the amazing third-grade children that fill it!

My Project

These Hokki Stools will be an excellent addition to our classroom. Our classroom currently has six Hokki Stools, and they are completely amazing! Students absolutely love them. Unfortunately, with us only having six total for our entire class at the moment, students do not get their own. We share them out; adding three more will really help. Hokki Stools promote learning and focus by allowing students to move quietly in their individual work area without disrupting peers around them. Hokkis are very safe. They have incredible balance and stability. They keep students safe while promoting their focus on learning. Hokki Stools are definitely a student and teacher favorite!
