Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class has lunch at 10:20 in the morning. Our day runs through about 2:30. By about 1 students are hungry and losing focus on learning.
The snacks requested in this project will support students in staying focused and motivated to finish out their learning each day.
I notice a big difference when students have a snack break towards the end of our day versus none at all. Students gain the energy they need to close out their academic work day strong. When students are hungry they lack focus so these snacks will help them a lot.
