My students are so smart and creative. I teach at a Title 1 school. Many students receive free breakfast and lunch. Their families are barely getting by and can not afford school supplies for the classroom. These students love to learn. I want to help them reach their goals and build the confidence needed for an amazing future. My school is rated a "B." I want to help my school become an "A" by giving my students resources to increase their math skills.
My Project
I am wanting to provide my students with test dividers so they can focus and keep their eyes on their own work during testing. My students sit at tables and share their space with four other students.
Test dividers help students have a space of their own and helps them concentrate on the work at hand.
The test dividers that we have are falling apart, have writing on them, and holes in them. I want to provide my students with new materials to show them that they deserve the best.
