Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our fourth grade team came up with an amazing idea last year! We created an in-school field trip called Hobby Day! We asked volunteers with hobbies and favorite pastimes to come to our school for the day to teach our kids a craft, or activity that they enjoy!

Last year, we had our children bring in money to cover some of the costs of the materials.

One of our hobbies is bracelet making, and these donations would be so greatly appreciated and we could use them for more than one year! I have also asked for some snacks to enjoy during this time. This field trip that we piloted last year was one that our fourth graders will never forget!
