Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have an amazing set of students. They have competed as a full-time competitive team and this year they have done well. I aspire for them to be even better for the upcoming year. A lot of my kids have dreams of cheering in college and one day becoming a coach for their own teams. The support that they receive from donors will help towards getting mats and several other materials that they will need for training this summer.

My Project

Obtaining these mats would actually teach my students many lessons. The number one lesson would be about the importance of doing good things in order to receive great awards. They will also teach them the importance of safety.

The mats in this project will make a major difference in how they learn skills, and they will then be able to execute skills that are required of them.

For many of them, it will give them a chance to perform skills that they never would imagine they could do. I do believe it would allow them to be great.
