Do you remember how you felt waiting for the first game of the season and all the preparation that took place to get ready? My female athletes share that excitement of waiting for and then finally getting to compete on their respective court and/or field. These girls have the desire to become not just better athletes but better people across the board!
Many of our students are using athletics, in addition to their academic achievements, to get offered a scholarship so that they may build a better future for themselves.
More than half of our students at THS are from low-income households. With that being said, many of our student-athletes have jobs in order to help support themselves and alleviate the pressure put on their parents. They know what hard work is, and they are not afraid of it. They thrive in situations others would have a very hard time facing. We really do have great kids that want to better themselves in every way and I am so proud of them! Go Bobcats!
My Project
Please consider donating these materials to our softball team. These girls work so hard and deserve the best we have to offer. Almost all of our girls are from low-income households and don't have the money to buy necessary equipment. Your donation will make such an impact on so many girls!
If we could provide these items for our girls, it would be an absolute GAMECHANGER for them!
I know I'm probably a little biased but we really do have some great kids and we want to give them the best experience we can. With these items, we will be able to run a much more efficient practice and our girls will reap the benefits! Thank you so much!
