This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are kindergarten through 5th graders who are full of energy. They visit the computer lab once per week for a scheduled special. A select group of 3rd-5th graders comes every morning for 90 minutes to participate in enrichment. All of our students are doing their best in a post-pandemic world. The students have adapted to the challenges thrown at them this past year and are not only surviving but thriving in this very different environment.
My students come from very diverse backgrounds.
They love reading diverse books, participating in maker space activities and STEM challenges, and are very curious. Older students enjoy acting as mentors to younger students in our school. There are over 1,400 students in our school! I have a large population of English language learners. They are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of it. My students are both general and special education students. They are all amazing kids!
There is nothing better than being able to print your work to bring home and hang on the refrigerator! This printer and ink will allow us to do so!
