Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love coming to Physical Education class and especially love learning new sports! Pickleball is an invigorating racquet sport that includes a combination of techniques and game strategies taken from tennis, ping-pong, and badminton. Played on a slightly smaller court than a traditional tennis court, pickleball can be played as either a doubles sport with four players or a singles sport with two players. The students in my school would love a chance to learn this new and exciting sport.
The students in my school deserve to have new pickleball equipment so that they can be successful and have the best possible learning experience.
Pickleball is a sport that you can play anywhere with a small amount of equipment. Our students could even play at home with their families.
We are dedicated to providing our students with the necessary building blocks to live healthy and active lives. With this new equipment, we will be able to do new fun and exciting lessons. We provide a variety of activities will help the students find what they love to stay active as an adult.
