My Project

Our students are budding lifelong readers who love action, suspense, and stories they can’t put down. That’s why we’re requesting the complete I Survived book series for our classroom library.

The I Survived books offer quick, high-interest reads that bring history to life through the eyes of young characters.

From natural disasters to pivotal moments in world history, these stories allow students to explore real events in an engaging and age-appropriate way. Each book helps students build background knowledge, grow empathy, and better understand the human side of historical moments.

Having access to the full series will not only support literacy and comprehension skills, but also encourage independent reading and spark rich classroom discussions. Students will be able to choose titles that interest them, discover new perspectives, and develop a deeper connection to history—all while building reading confidence.
