My Project

Our reading unit includes a section on reading historical fiction novels. Students are to work in groups to better understand the text. This unit requires students to have their own book and reading a book at their own ability level. Getting leveled books in their hands helps them learn the grade level skills.

This project will provide the class with different levels of historical fiction texts to put in student's hands.

Students will work on reading skills and also learn about nonfiction topics. This unit spreads across multiple subject areas and increases learning.
