My Project

As a department, we are hoping to get new historical fiction graphic novel texts. With these texts, students will be able to bridge fiction and non-fiction in addition to building understanding of the history around the world. With this variety, students will not only be able to choose a historical topic that interests them, but also a text at their level of reading skill. This unit will be paired with non-fiction articles about our world today.

By donating to our project, you will help us allow choice in our historical fiction unit, which will ultimately help us increase their engagement and academic achievement in our students.
