Historical Fiction Fuels Learning

Help me give my students sets of books to help them learn about important historical events while working on essential literacy skills.

My Project

I teach a wonderfully diverse group of third grade students. They love reading and have been enjoying fantasy books, biographies, and stem related chapter books. We recently finished the Addy series together, learning about the Civil War along the way. The class is begging for more historical fiction!

Help me give my students opportunities to learn more about important parts of history through historical fiction.

I am also asking for additional books they have requested, as well as a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help guide book studies for the historical fiction collections. Thank you for supporting public schools!
