This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a social studies teacher, my goal is to help my students discover how they can use history to shape their future, the future of their communities, and even the future of the world at large!
With these supplies, such as Post-its, pens, highlighters, paper, and more my student will be able to interact with primary and secondary source documents and maybe even create some history of their own.
These materials can supplement costs for students' parents or guardians as they live in a low-income community. Despite their circumstances, my students being a love of learning, a deep-rooted curiosity, and a drive to succeed that is present in our classroom every day!
