My students need two globes to visually explore what the world looks like. The class pack of colored pencils are for creative learning opportunities. The set of 48 dry erase boards are for review!

My 7th grade classroom will be a haven where students can escape the outside world as joyful learners. Meaningful actives involving acting, exploring, singing and creating projects guide our learning each day. Students will be interested in the world around them, with a sense of noble citizenship.
KIPP Columbus is an amazing school located in Columbus, Ohio.
One of our main goals is to get our students to and through college. Many of our students face significant challenges outside of the classroom. 32% of our students are on grade level. Our goal for this year is to move that percentage to 70%. It's my goal to foster a culture of literacy and success, making students curious about the world around them.
Globes will help my hands-on learners visualize what the world looks like from afar, aiding in their historical perspective. These will help them grasp the concept of directions and hemispheres. The colored pencils will be used for beautiful projects and activities. Students need more art in the classroom! The whiteboards will keep students invested during review and checks for understanding. Whiteboards allow students to compete and learn in many constructive ways.
This project will make a big impact on my students.
Many of these students have been robbed of a proper education and face hardships at home. It is my job to ensure that school is an incredible, engaging place where the outside world fades away. With your donation you can help me make the world a better for these kids, and with the potential I see in them, you will be making a difference in the world!
