My Students

Our students, this year, will be relying on lessons taught online. With the social distancing guidelines for our district, I will probably not be able to see them face-to-face as I have in the past. They will most likely spend some if not all of their time interacting with me through the screen of a computer.

Creating high-quality videos to instruct my students will be critical to engaging them in the content that I usually teach in person.

I wish to make high-quality lessons that will make the best of this bad situation.

My Project

After several weeks of distance learning, I've learned how difficult it is to grab and keep the attention of my students when we are not face-to-face. With the obvious need to provide lessons online, I wish to improve the quality of my videos, allowing me to better connect with my students during this pandemic.

This equipment will ensure that all my students can properly see and hear my lessons clearly.

The light will brighten my dim office, the mic stand (along with my own mic) will allow students to hear me, and the whiteboard will allow me to post information like announcements, agenda, today's standards, and other important messages.
