My Students

My students live in a county that suffers from both rural and urban problems. My classroom has a wide variety of diverse learners. I am the only CT biology teacher in the school so my classroom is made up of students who come from a variety of learning levels. They are a great group of students who have worked hard not only on biology but also I’m kindness and respect. Living Environment is a graduation requirement for my students and helping them to get through the year and obtain credit is integral to their success in high school.

My Project

Some of my students with severe attention disorders would greatly benefit from a way to move safely and without distraction throughout labs and other in class activities. These Zenergy Ball chairs would be a great start in making my classroom more accessible to every student who walks in the door, and help each one of them to be successful. My most distracted learners are so capable of being successful and learning to be scientists. These chairs will help them to focus on the phonemona they are looking at and learn to see the world through the lens of a scientist. Thank you for your consideration!
