High School Robotics Team Needs Drill Bit Organization
Help me give my students an organized way to store drill bits to build robots!
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Hajel's classroom raised $437
This project is fully funded
My Project
Our FIRST Robotics Competition Team (FRC) engages students in the ultimate project-based STEM experience. Students develop and apply skills in math, computer science, physics, and engineering, as well as participating in public relations, budgeting and finance, and community outreach. Since 2014, our team has seen consistent growth in the size and commitment of our team and our achievement at the FIRST Robotics Competition.
We are part of an urban, public school and are committed to creating an equitable and non-cost prohibitive program for our students.
Sponsor contributions keep the program active and accessible to all of our student members. Please help us keep our promise to our students and our program growing.
This customized drill bit system and replacement bits will help students figure out which bit to use! By using this particular system, our students will be able to identify the specific drill bit by both size and color. With 13/64th being green and 17/64th being white, it will allow the students to get the exact bit they need, without having to go through a significant number of similar-looking bits. The organizational tray will also help keep these bits organized and is more helpful than just a regular box of drill bits.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
