My Project

I believe every student, regardless of their age, deserves a classroom where they feel excited to learn. My goal for my high school math students at WJHS is to make math as fun and interactive as possible.

To do this, I need to move beyond the traditional textbook and provide my students with resources that make a real difference in their day-to-day learning.

My students do well with tangible support. This includes basic supplies like notebooks and paper, but also hands-on manipulatives that turn abstract problems into concrete ideas, and even fidget tools that help them stay focused during challenging lessons.

What really makes a difference is positive reinforcement. You would be surprised at how much a simple sticker or stamp can motivate a high schooler! Your donation will help me build a positive classroom environment where hard work is celebrated.
