Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am the music teacher in Calistoga, California and I teach Band in grades 4-12. My small high school band (8 students) has fallen in love with jazz music! Many are even coming in after school to practice and learn new songs! We are asking for 29 books of jazz music that fit our small group (that is over 150 songs for them to learn), 20 new drum heads, and 1 cymbal stand so our drum set can play the jazz music. These additions to our jazz group will boost the spirits of the students who thirst for more music. I want my students to have the best musical experience they can have, no matter the size of the group. Your donation can make this possible! Thank you!
