Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For effective reading instruction, students need to be exposed to complex texts and high-ordered thinking questions. I plan to use the instructional materials requested will help to bridge the gap between students' current comprehension levels and the expectations for their reading capabilities.
Filled with text passages that reflect students' cultural diversity, students will be both engaged and encouraged to think critically as a means of exceeding their reading potential.
In doing so, students will be guided to self and peer assess through the use of post-its, pens, and tabs.
