My Students

We are a K-12 school in rural Tennessee. The students come from a variety of backgrounds, and many come from farming families. The students are enthusiastic to learn, but we lack the amount of equipment necessary for a traditional music education at the elementary level.

Please donate and give our students the chance to have the same elementary music education as their peers in the suburbs.

My Project

These instruments are the foundation of the most popular elementary music education methodology in the United States. Glockenspiels and xylophones are used to teach students everything from reading music and improvising to learning to play in an ensemble, developing their musical skills as well as their confidence and social skills. These high quality instruments will last decades to come and will be used across many grade levels by many students.

This purchase will bring us one big step closer to having the amount and quality of instruments necessary for an excellent music education at the elementary level.

Please help the students at SFUS have the kind of educational opportunities in the arts that other students their age have at larger schools. Thank you for your support!
