My Students

I teach a group of marvelous sixth graders at an elementary school in central Utah. My students come to school each day excited to learn. They are kind, motivated, and they are hard workers.

"Learning never exhausts the mind" -Leonardo da Vinci.

My students are always asking questions and they love to know why. I want to provide more opportunities for them to continue on this lifelong learning path. They truly are wonderful students and I am so lucky to have the opportunity to teach them and learn from them!

My Project

My students love to read! We'd love your help to create a class set of the book Number the Stars by Louis Lowry. Part of our sixth grade curriculum includes learning about world history and this book will help students do just that. Having a class set allows all students to be engaged in a whole class shared reading. This helps with reading comprehension on many levels.

With your support, my students will be exposed to award-winning and quality literature to fuel their passion for reading and writing.

As they read this book, they will progress in reading, writing, and speaking. Thank you for your support!
