My Project
I work at a title 1 school where all of my kids receive free lunch. The books in our classroom library from the start the year are worn and very uninteresting to my students. If I were a kid, I would not go out of my way to pick up one of these books. I love the explosion of reading that happens in fourth grade! As a first year teacher, I would love to provide my students and future students with high quality, diverse reading material. Inspiring books that turn new readers into leaders. This will help my students progress with high quality reading at each level. Students will successfully move through the levels with amazing books from the "Who Would Win" and "Baby-sitters Club" series. This will help students stay engaged with diverse, imaginative and relative books!
