My Students

My students with autism are amazing. I am a special day teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am trying to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

My students are excited to explore and learn to expand their capacity for critical thinking.

They take pride in their efforts and are willing to challenge their minds for the sake of learning.

My Project

I want my students to enjoy reading. By providing high interest books into my classroom my students will be able to choose books they want to read during their free time.

My students enjoy reading Little Golden Books and have fun reading while learning!

By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase my students’ reading skills. The high interest Golden Books will help inspire my student to be better readers.

Providing access to a range of high interest books will build excitement about reading. My students can then spread that excitement to other students and share the love of reading.
