My Project
Students in the elective academic intervention class are working on specific target skills in reading. Often it is challenging for older struggling students to find books they are interested in that also are appropriate for their reading skills. As a result, often times students shy away from reading, which impacts reading progress. Hi-Lo books will give the students the opportunity to engage with books of interest for their age group while still supporting their current reading skills. Students in the elective academic intervention class has opted out of taking an elective such as art, strings, and technology to name a few in order to focus on improving their reading.
Please help me support their efforts by stocking my classroom with books of interest for these students.
