Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are bright, creative and engaged learners despite how the Department of Education budgets our school. Our classroom community provides them with an oasis where their minds can soar, and they can thrive. The students are working hard to make academic progress, but could use extra materials to help our students succeed. Paper is essential for the students because they love to create comics, art work and books. Using their imagination is so important because it shows they are learning. Flexible seating helps my students stay engaged and learn in their own way. It gives students choice.
