High Five! Coaching the AP Test Review

My students need practice materials to review what we they have learned for spiral review purposes as they prepare for the multiple AP tests they take each year.

My Students

My students are an eclectic mix (as most public school kids are) of middle and working class kids, a mixture of races and backgrounds and motivations. What makes them special to me is that they like being challenged. They want to succeed and like having a goal to achieve. Many are involved in extracurricular activities further accentuating the development of their personalities. This fact forces them to organize and be congnizant of time usage. They are skilled at planning ahead and being conscientious about completing their assignments.

My Project

Many of my students families do not have disposable income to purchase review materials to facilitate their success on AP Exams. These materials will help with continual review throughout the year and as we cram prior to and during the stressful month of May.

I teach 4 AP preps and having easy access to extra review materials will not only make my job easier but will also allow my students to be exposed to different question phrasing.

For a majority of my students English is a second language so learning to analyze and understand exactly what is being asked is a crucial skill.
