High Def-initely...Think We N​eed a Media Hub

Help me give my students the equipment they need to successfully run their Media Hub! Students will have access to Aerial videography with the drone, 360º photography with the Ricoh camera, and film action with the sports camera!

My Students

My elementary school services K-5 students in Philadelphia. The families and neighbors here are close and supportive. Unfortunately, the student population is 100% economically disadvantaged.

We are very proud of our school community.

We are a community of diverse students dedicated to becoming lifelong learners and productive citizens. All of the students here follow the 3-Rs which represent our core beliefs. The students are Respectful, Responsible and Ready.

My students will take full advantage of any generosity given to them. Thank you, for your consideration and time.

My Project

Digital Literacy for students entails learning video creation and editing, as well as digital photography. To meet our goals of digitally literate students, our school is opening a Media Hub.

This project will provide students with access to aerial filming via drones, 360º photography with the 360 camera, and the ability to film high definition action with the sports cameras!

This project will supplement our video editing software and green screen technology, making the Media Hub truly cutting edge.

The new Media Hub will be open to all of our K-5 students. It will promote special events and student achievement and the school in general. Students' original content will be shared with our YouTube Channel, Social Media, and even our local cable station.
