This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting an iPad mini. The kids of today learn best when technology is involved. They are proven to be more attentive and interactive when technology is included in the daily lessons.

With the emergence of the Covid19, digital learning has been highlighted.Some parents decided to have their kids learn remotely.

Even though our school is still exercising face to face lesson, we would still want the kids to experience the digital learning while observing the health protocol. This will be made possible by lessons made thru online and projected and presented in the class.

When we have lessons specifically Math, I will project the lessons on the board using the iPad. Then I will walk around the classroom to solicit answers from the kids and have them write on the iPad which will be then projected on the board. In this case, we will lessen the kids standing up and getting markers and erasers to share their answers. This takes time. With the iPad, we can maximize our time and limit the items that the teacher needs to sanitize from time to time.

I as a teacher needed to be mobile to make sure that the kids will be on-task. Possessing this gadget will make things light work for me.
