Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year, our school celebrates our graduating seniors through Decision Day. This year it will be on May 22, 2024. This day allows us to celebrate our seniors' accomplishments throughout high school. During Decision Day, seniors proudly announce where they are attending while also enjoying food and games. Many of our seniors come from low-income and underrepresented backgrounds within higher education. As a College and Career Center staff member, I have first-handly observed the students' hard work during the college application process and their overall dedication to pursuing higher education.

By providing different resources, we hope our students can spend more time on their academics rather than worrying about finances.

Your contributions will allow us to provide essential technology students need to thrive and succeed in higher education.

We would like to gift our students an iPad through a raffle during Decision Day. We hope to help ease the financial burden of paying for college necessities with these gifts.
