Were you in a school musical or play? If you were, you probably have never forgotten the feeling of accomplishment, excitement, and closeness you had with your fellow cast members. These 8 to 11-year-old students amaze me every day with their talent and work ethic.
They are wonderful!
The joy they display for others amazes me every time I witness it. They are also some of the kindest students I have ever taught. It doesn't matter if a student is new to the country or the school, my kids are falling over each other to help.
Watching them become young performers has been a great joy to me. To paraphrase a favorite song of mine, they make me smile!
Our school, like many elementary schools, was built with inadequate lighting in our auditorium. Upon viewing videos of our show it was clear that we need additional lighting for our concerts, musicals, and assemblies throughout the year. Even when all of the lights are on it is difficult to make out the faces of children on stage.
The Lighting Stage Lighting System 1 and 4 microphone stands will give parents what they want the most.
The ability to see and hear their children on stage on May 13th, 14th and 15th in our auditorium. With your help they will have memories of their performances that they can share and enjoy for many years.
