This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing little individuals! The students in my class are diverse in every way! They are experiencing their second year of school filled with learning as they are immersed in a dual language classroom where they continue to learn a new language together! This year is a bit different for my students in first grade as we are learning both at home and at school while on a hybrid schedule.

The amount of growth they have in first grade amazes me!

Their little brains can absorb so much in a year and seeing them apply what they have learned is like a gift for me!

My Project

My little first graders are just getting the hang of using a computer. Their biggest struggle has been double clicking on the track pad. Their little fingers seem to move all over which in turn makes it slightly difficult to pinpoint what they are trying to click on.

I am attempting to make learning at home a bit easier by providing my students with a mouse and a mouse pad so they can quickly navigate their computer.

Having the appropriate materials makes anything you do easier and at this time in their education it would be much appreciated.
