My Project

Students spend an enormous amount of time siting and interacting with others via technology. Advances in technology and parent work schedules have made it so that children are sitting inside their homes playing video games, posting on social media, and watching videos on TikTok and YouTube.

Educators are seeing the ramifications of lack of physical activity and overuse of technology.

Physical stamina has decreased and social skills declining.

Students are missing out on the socialization opportunities that physical play offers, as well as the simple fun and stress reduction that playing directly with peers offers. After-school activities can help to counteract this trend.
