This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love looking at books and listening to stories. They enjoy using pointers and puppets and pretend they are a teacher reading books in the library area.

I want to give all my students the opportunity to grow their vocabulary and gain confidence in not only saying words, but learning new words as they read and listen.

All my students, especially those that do not speak English fluently; can benefit from having books read to them. Having the option of listening to a story and following along using an actual book is a bonus.
