Help me give my students an engaging & functional space. The awning & popcorn images will decorate our door, setting the tone for therapy as safe & fun. The snacks are for hungry kids to help them focus.

My Project
My students are simultaneously phenomenally gifted and uniquely challenged. They range in age from 5 to 13 years, many with special needs. I am their SLP helping them achieve their best communication ability. Kids learn best when they feel safe and have fun. I strive to create a fun and safe space. I’m asking for things like snacks for when kids skip breakfast or lunch, so they’re not distracted by their tummies during our short time together.
The children will also benefit from and deserve a beautiful and welcoming space, this is where the popcorn decor and awning come in.
My task requires many materials that require preservation through laminating, and replacement like the markers, color pencils, erasers, that we use daily during sessions.
These items will be put to use immediately in our therapy room. I can’t wait to see their eyes light up when they see our new door and smell the popcorn inside waiting for them once we decorate our door!
