My Project

Hermit crabs are good classroom pets. They will offer an engaging and low-maintenance option. They are relatively easy to care for, requiring an aquarium with proper substrate, food, water, and hiding places.

Hermit crabs can be a great tool for teaching about animal behavior, biology, and ecosystems.

They are naturally social and prefer to live in groups, which can be a positive aspect in a classroom setting. Their unique shells and behaviors can be fascinating to observe, providing learning opportunities for students.

Students caring for hermit crabs require them to provide proper care and maintain their environment.
