Here we Are Together on Our Classroom Rug!

My students need a classroom rug that promotes a positive social gathering experience.

My Students

My students are energetic 3 to 5 year olds just beginning the journey of learning in a school environment. About three quarters of my students are receiving services from the special education teacher and/or the Speech and Language Pathologist.

Curious, inventive and extremely active, my students use our entire classroom area to explore, discover and continuously develop new knowledge and skills.

I love to see the classroom come alive through the new connections my students are making with the teachers, peers and the classroom environment.

My Project

Providing an inviting environment for group times will help the children to enjoy a more positive social and work environment. The classroom rug is a gathering place for my students to work on skills such as: working in the same space with other children, following routines, movement, and music.

This rug will provide a defined space for the children to gather and work together to build positive social relationships.

We will use the rug to greet each other at the beginning of class, sing together, dance together and work together. Please consider helping to make our classroom a more inviting place to learn and grow.
