Providing an inviting environment for group times will help the children to enjoy a more positive social and work environment. The classroom rug is a gathering place for my students to work on skills such as: working in the same space with other children, following routines, movement, and music. This rug will provide a defined space for the children to gather and work together to build positive social relationships. We will use the rug to greet each other at the beginning of class, sing together, dance together and work together. Please consider helping to make our classroom a more inviting place to learn and grow.
