Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Acknowledging that my kinder students had a year like no other, I would like to wish them a farewell to first grade by giving them a personalized string bag to fill with goodies.

These goodies will be stuffed into the bags that students will receive as a gift at the end of this 2022 school year to celebrate their accomplishments and to jumpstart a joyful summer vacation.

I believe my kinder students deserve a gift like no other, given that for many of them this is their first experience as a student in a school. I can't wait to start stuffing these string bags with goodies donated through Donors Choose. They will be able to use these donations during the summer for leisure reading and drawing.
