Help me give my students the opportunity to use the Cricut Maker to create a variety of projects, learning materials and manipulatives for individual needs.
Our school consists of two hundred fifty transitional kindergarteners through third-grade students nestled among the rural Redwood coast of northern California. Even though we see the ocean from our playground most of our students haven't had the opportunity to visit the ocean.
I have amazing and fun-loving students wanting to strive for their personal best and pack as much knowledge in their brains as possible!
They are hard workers and love to help one another learn. My students come from very different backgrounds and family structures. Although most of the students I teach come from poverty homes, they are still very happy and enjoy learning new things every day.
One of the most powerful and rewarding instructional tools at our fingertips is the usage of technology in the classroom. My students are learning to use code to find solutions to everyday problems. They are thirsty for new knowledge and the bright future that that knowledge will bring. My goal each year is to provide my students with quality education and a classroom full of love.
My Project
Having a Cricut Maker in our school will help to create amazing art projects, bulletin boards and individual materials for students. Students in my 3rd-grade class, as well as my STEM enrichment class, will be able to create personal projects to a whole new level. Creating designs from t-shirts to water bottles. The sky is the limit! Even though I am asking for this machine for my classroom, it will benefit the entire school of 200+ kids. Teachers in all grades will be able to come and use the machine.
Having a Cricut Maker will help to enhance the type of artwork we will be able to do with the kids.
Beautiful creations made by a Cricut Maker and designed by students will bring our school to life!
