My Project

Impact on Student Learning

By funding this project, donors will help create a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging educational experience that emphasizes the importance of women’s history.

Students will gain a deeper understanding of historical and contemporary issues, develop critical thinking and collaboration skills, and feel empowered to shape their futures. Through this celebration, we aim to inspire all students to value and appreciate the achievements of women while promoting equity and inclusion within our school community. As a history teacher at a Title I high school in Southeast Georgia, I believe that celebrating Women’s History Month is essential to providing a more equitable and empowering education for all students. Women’s contributions to history, science, culture, and politics are often overlooked or underrepresented in traditional curricula.

Below are key reasons why grant funding for this initiative is both necessary and impactful: Empowering Students Through Representation, Empowering Students Through Representation, Promoting Critical Thinking and Civic Engagement, Encouraging Cross-Disciplinary Learning, Providing Enrichment Opportunities, and Fostering School and Community Engagement.
