Do you remember the first time you sat in a classroom? What color was the chair? Was it an age appropriate and comfortable chair?
Many children in today's society do not get the materials they need to help with their education.
I have been a teacher in the New York City area for many years. I have seen hundreds of children go through my classroom. These children are so eager and willing to learn. We have a great school but like many schools its hard to get the materials we need for our children.
My Project
The chairs that we have in our classroom are very old and are beginning to break. The children are scare to sit in a few of the chairs. The children like to sit at the tables and do their work however these chairs are not making them feel comfortable. We need a lot of chairs but Im only asking for six right now to replace the very bad chairs. Once we get funded I will ask for more for the classroom.
You will make it possible for the children to feel safe sitting in a new, comfortable, age appropriate chair.
Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal. You can truly make a difference in our classroom.
