With your help and support, the students in my classroom will gain supplies in order to aid them in their learning and growth. My students make up a diverse population of people of color, students with disabilities as well as multi-lingual learners. Many of these students come from a broken home with their parents being divorced or living with extended family. Additionally, many of these families cannot afford to supply their students with materials that they need for their learning. As a result, I, as the educator, must supply many of these students with the materials that they need to have a successful learning journey.
The goals for this project is for me to create an inviting learning space for my students to grow as individuals.
Beginning with the laminating sheets, students would greatly benefit from having anchor charts to have as a reference for literacy, math as well as science. The cork boards will be used to display those anchor charts, which will be hung with the adhesive sticky tape. The file organizers will be used to keep students' files, which will be in the manila folders, for both math and literacy safe and transportable. The bulletin board paper and border will help to keep the classroom visually appealing. The hot glue sticks will aid students with art projects.
