Helping the Softball Squad!

Help me give my students new softball uniforms, warmup, travel bags and equipment for Varsity and JV Girls Softball.

My Students

The students at my school come from an underprivileged neighborhood where one hundred percent of them receive free or reduced-price lunch. Violence and negligence are daily occurrences in our neighborhood, yet they come to school each day determined to succeed. My students do not have much, and our athletic programs have even less. My players come to practice every day and display resilience and an attitude to succeed. They inspire me each and every day to push them harder toward their dreams. Your help will make our players feel good and represent our school well when we travel to and compete against, the schools in our league!

My Project

Our girls' softball team is in its second year of varsity competition and is looking forward to wearing new uniforms, windbreakers, and duffel bags both during and after their games, as well as travel to and from. We are asking for practice uniforms as well as travel gear and softball equipment for games and practice.

Being able to provide the students with the appropriate materials will help take some stress away from the families who would otherwise not be able to provide these items for their families.

Their new uniforms will be used to play in games and the windbreakers will be to travel in. Providing the team with these uniforms, jackets, and bags will give the team a sense of pride in themselves. The team will all have matching hats, windbreakers, and bags to match the uniforms and each other. We are also looking to provide bats and hitting screens for the girls to use while warming up and during games while on the bench. Lastly, we are looking to provide a storage locker for all of our outdoor storage needs.
